About me
I am in my mid-fifties, on the short side, not blessed with a high metabolism and I work full-time. I decided to try a low-carb diet (towards Ketogenic levels) and use Intermittent Fasting along with it to try to help me lose some weight and improve my digestion and overall health.
I don’t want to go downhill as I age and then not be able to do things like traveling, hobbies, and other activities that I can enjoy as I approach retirement. Hey, there are many places I would like to see before I am too old to enjoy them.
However, I am in fairly good health for my age and I wasn’t actually overweight when I started this change. I eat a healthy diet, but I like sweets. I am looking at this as a lifestyle change and not just one of those diets you do for a few months and then go back to normal and gain the weight back.
The improvements in my health in just 2 months have been amazing!
