Then you get the old: "Why do people use hyphenated "American" categories?" Yes, it would be nice to not use them, but when people are treated more equally and people stop judging and making stupid assumptions based on someone's looks or use of language, then let's have that conversation. I won't hold my breath waiting for that though...
